The Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Bizay Sonkar Shastri, has said the Commission would bring the issue of police firing on tribals at Muthanga in Wayanad district of Kerala to the notice of Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee soon. Talking to reporters at Kalpetta and Kozhikode on Thursday, Bizay Sonkar Shastri also informed that the Commission would give a detailed report on the sequence of events that led to the firing to the President within two days.
