Sesam dying of mystery disease

Thousands of sesam trees, which provide timber worth billions of rupees, have dried up in the plains of North Bihar due to an unknown disease. Many thousand more are threatened with the mysterious disease but the state government is yet to take any action to halt the damage to the environment and the timber business.Bihar's forest department accepts that so far more than one-third of the sesam trees in North Bihar have dried up.
