Farmers of the Gagret area organised a massive protest against the proposed SEZ and airport in the district on Wednesday. Thousands of farmers came out on the roads in tractor trailers. They were holding placards carrying slogans against the present government. They said the government was acquiring their ' land for creating an SEZ for the benefit of big industrial houses. The protesters, including women, gathered at the mini secretariat, Una, where they raised slogans and staged a dharna. They parked their tractor trailers on main roads of the city obstructing traffic.
