Murang’a town residents will benefit from a Sh3 billion water storage programme to be initiated by Murang’a Water and Sanitation Company. The water company has said it is planning to build a mega dam near the Aberdare Forest to harvest rainwater. MD Daniel Ng’ang’a said together with its partners, the firm will construct a dam that will improve water distribution. He spoke during the AGM meeting in Murang’a town on Thursday. “Most of the rainwater goes to waste yet most of the residents lack water,” N’ang’a said.
