The International environment organisation Greenpeace yesterday said the Belgian government had "arrested" a bulk carrier docked at Antwerp on reports that it had hazardous materials on board and was bound for scrapping in Alang, Gujarat. According to Greenpeace, such exports have been banned under the European law since 1998.
