Even as the evictees from the controversial Mathikettan Shola are busy mobilising political support for legitimising their encroachments, the Forest and Revenue Departments are going ahead with the job of demarcating the Shola area so that the dual control over the area could be brought to an end. According to department sources, the smooth conduct of the operation has run into rough weather as the Forest and Revenue Departments are stuck with their own versions of the Shola area.
