A report released by International Rivers Network documents the severe and uncompensated impacts which the Theun-Hinboun Dam in Laos has had upon the livelihoods of thousands of local people. The project is to be officially opened at a dam-site ceremony this saturday, April 4. Asian Development Bank president Mr. Mitsuo Sato is expected to attend the ceremony.
