Sindh government earmarks Rs 40 million for ongoing development schemes of forest sector

The Government of Sindh has earmarked Rs 40 million for the forest sector's ongoing development schemes to be completed during the current financial year. Out of this allocation, Rs 13.50 million will be spent on the pilot project on massive afforestation in the province with a view to accelerating tree plantation activities in different eco-zones of Karachi, Thatta, Dadu, Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Nawabshah, Khairpur, Nausheroferoz, Sukkur and Ghotki.
