The slum clusters have all but ruined the lives of many residents in South Delhi colonies. Though the authorities have made numerous promises to relocate the slums, the change seems like a distant dream. Most of them came up as a result of construction work inside the residential complex. The workers built temporary shelters during the period of construction. Even when the construction was completed, the workers refused to vacate the area.
