Given its Tata heritage, Tata Motors is a champion of responsible business. Recognising the brand building capabilities of Corporate social responsibility (CSR), Tata Motors formed a CSR Committee in January 2006 comprising the Managing Director Ravi Kant and other senior executives of the company. "Our CSR activities are largely dependent on the region in which we operate," says Prakash M. Telang, Executive Director-Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors.
