Speakers at a workshop hailed the Hills Leasehold Forestry Project (HLFP) that aims to uplift the people below poverty line. They said that the project has been extended to over 16 districts, in addition to the already existing 10 districts, from this year as the project proved to be very successful in benefiting the poor people of districts where the programme has been implemented.
