A special project would be launched in ten districts of Madhya Pradesh to increase bamboo production and to upgrade the skill in manufacturing of bamboo products. An amount of Rs 13.69 crore for this project was sanctioned at the meeting of the Board of Directors of Laghu Vanopaj Sangh, which was chaired by Forest Minister Harvansh Singh. The ten districts, where this project would be implemented are Satna, Mandla, Panna, Chhattarpur, Narsinghpur, Shahdol, Balaghat, Guna, Sidhi and Seoni districts.
