Observing that the target of cleaning the Yamuna was far from achieved, a Parliamentary committee said the government should pursue the programme diligently and finish it in a timebound manner. In a report tabled in the House, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Environment and Forests also said it has no clue as to what happened to the report on maintaining a minimal flow of water in the river, which was submitted to the Supreme Court by the environment ministry.
