Sri Lanka government is currently mulling to increase the standard fixed rate of water bills to minimize the losses. Non-cabinet Minister for Water Supply and Drainage Mahinda Amaraweera stated that this measure will be taken to reduce the losses incurred by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board.
