The Sardar Sarovar Project (SSP) project affected Adivasis from the Nadurbar district have demanded that the Maharashtra government admit that it does not have enough land to rehabilitate the oustees. Around 500 Adivasis from the district have come to the city and are staging an indefinite dharna at Azad maidan to demand that the government "show us the land". The adivasis have come under the banner of the Punarwasan Sangharsha Samiti (PSS), and are supported by a number of other organisations and trade unions including the Narmada Bachao Andolan and the Natonal Alliance of People's Movements.
