Kumar Manish | TNN Ahmedabad: Walking along the Sabarmati in the night will soon be a starry affair. This is because aesthetically-designed lamps will line up the walkway in future. Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (SRFDCL) plans to spend Rs 7.3 crore on installing lighting system at lower promenade of the ambitious project. It will include light fixtures at lower promenade, walkway adjacent to the river and flood light fixture at access area of promenade. At present, the stretch from Gandhi Bridge to Nehru Bridge and Ellisbridge on the western side of the river is ready.
