Taking an urgent view of the rehabilitation and resettlement problem of the Narmada oustees, the Gujarat government has decided that it would forcefully go ahead and allow 7,903 project affected families of Madhya Pradesh to make a choice of the state in which they would like to settle down once submergence of their areas begins.
