The World Bank will extend financial assistance to the tune of Rs 500 crore to the State Government for the conduct of District Poverty Alleviation Programme in Madhya Pradesh. An official Press release issued at Jabal pur said that Madhya Pradesh is oneof th three states of the country that will receive World Bank aid under the programme . The other two states are Rajasthan and Andhra pradesh , according to the release.
