The Government intensified its campaign on the Rs 560,000 crore project for interlinking of rivers with the help of the BJP youth wing. To inaugurate the first of a series of national conventions, organised by the wing on the subject, was the party president, Venkaiah Naidu who forcefully drove home the message that "the future of the youth was linked to the project of interlinking of rivers".
