Jamshedpur: Outsourcing the job of sanitation at Tatanagar to a private party has become a bane for both railway passengers and local residents. The road leading to Khasmahal from the station has literally turned into a waste dump. Heaps of garbage litter the half-kilometre stretch and raise a stink that makes life miserable everyone in the vicinity. The private agency, entrusted with the job to keep the platforms and station premise clean, is thoughtlessly dumping garbage on the road.
