Participants of the two-day national consultation on 'Protected Areas in Pakistan - Towards Effectiveness' have called for effective measures for the preservation of natural heritage of Pakistan.The national consultation has been organized by the IUCN, The World Conservative Union. Terming national consultation as a timely initiative, the federal environment secretary, Javed Hassan Ali, said: "This is a timely initiative and we must work together to improve our systems to protect our outstanding natural heritage."
