Despite the best possible efforts to contain the bush fires in several parts of the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, fresh fires are breaking out posing a major challenge to the wildlife officials. A glimpse at the sprawling 321 square kilometre sanctuary from a vantage point atop Kargudy hill in Tamil Nadu today reveled thick smoke billowing out from atleast four spots.
