Delhi High Court warned that it would dissolve the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) if the civic body did not stop marriages from taking place illegally in city farmhouses. Granting two weeks to the MCD to reply to a complaint that marriages in farmhouses are continuing despite previous orders, the court said it would invoke Section 490 of the Delhi Municipal Act to dissolve the corporation if marriages are not stopped.
