Environmentalists in Tumkur, Karnataka have strongly condemned the recent statements of politicians in support of regularization of forest land encroached. Head of the Green Watchers' Nature organization, Sanjay Gubbi, has demanded that encroachments and regularization of land be stopped for the time being. There was a need to analyse the facts before regularizing encroachments, he said.
