Stray rhino, calf driven back to forest in West Bengal

JALPAIGURI: Two rhinos, which had strayed into human habitation from the Gorumara reserve forest in West Bengal, on Sunday returned to their natural habitat thanks to the effort of forest officials.
District Forest Officer Tapan Das said a female rhino and its calf strayed from the Gorumara Reserve forest on Friday night, traversed along the Diana river and took shelter in a paddy field at Lal Basti village. After getting information from the villagers, 40 Wildlife officials, along with two
