This year, bonus is being distributed to tendy leaf pluckers in reward for their hard work. This initiative is part of a new programme started by the Congress Government which aims to stop the exploitation of tendu workers. The Government wants the tribal population to get maximum benefit for their hard work in producing this forest product.
