Here is the story of a group of students from Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu, who are working overtime, in fulfillment of a pledge to transform this drought prone district into a lush and green one. This group of about 600 students of Sivanthipatti Nadar Higher Secondary School, Mamasapuram at the foot of the Western Ghats, irked at the large scale destruction go the greenery of the area by anti socials, made up their mind to grow trees in their houses and protect the green belt.
