A strong earthquake will probably occur relatively soon along the Himalayan mountains, putting more than 50 million people at risk and threatening cities in India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan, researchers say.In a study in the journal Science, scientists say that at least one earthquake of 8.1 to 8.3 magnitude is overdue along the 2,000 kilometer seismically active front.
