The centre is willing to award the Rs 3,500-crore metro services project for Hyderabad, keeping in view the increasing pressure on city roads, according to Mr Bandaru Dattareya, Union Minister of State for Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation. Announcing this at the inaugural of second phase of Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS), the Minister asked the Andhra Pradesh Government to submit a feasibility report.
