Residents of several slums in Bangalore were given a 'swaccha' gift by the Karnataka Slum Clearance Board (KSCB) and the Housing and Development Corporation (HUDCO). Estimated to be a Rs 7.38 crore, project, the 'Sulabh Shouchalaya' complexes are part of a drive initiated by the government to ensure "cleanliness in Bangalore's slums".
