The Supreme Court on Thursday asked the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to furnish by Monday a list of residential areas in the Capital which are being used for commercial purposes. A three-Judge Bench comprising the Chief Justice Y.K. Sabharwal, Justice B.N. Srikrishna and Justice R.V. Raveendran, hearing a batch of petitions relating to alleged violations of Delhi Master Plan, said that it would pass appropriate orders on Monday after taking the list into consideration. The Bench expressed concern that there were blatant violations and said it would take such areas initially.
