Municipal corporation in Surat has come out with a 60-minute documentary 'Surat - Marching Towards a Green Revolution.' With a view to focus on the necessity for providing the industrial city with a "green lung," the film has been divided into three parts. Each part, highlights the ecological aspect of the city with its 43 gardens, roadside strip plantation, the greenery in road dividers and mass planttion.Edited, directed and written by Surat's zoo, parks and gardens superintendent Hemendra De, the hour-long video takes viewers on a conducted tour of the silent world of plant verdure.
