The ministry of surface transport will notify Euro II norms with some changes shortly. The new norms, to be called Modified India 2000 norms, will be effective in the National Capital Region (NCR ) from April 1, 2000. A decision to this effect was taken by the Standing Committee on Emission Norms on Friday.
