Survey launched on impact of literacy drive

A State-level survey on the impact of literacy campaign in Rajasthan with special reference to gender empowerment has been launched by the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), Jaipur, with financial support from the State Government's Directorate of Literacy and Continuing Education. The survey would be completed within six months and a set of recommendations submitted to the State Government for achieving total literacy in Rajasthan in the shortest possible time-frame, the IDS Director, Dr. S.S. Acharya, said at Jaipur today.
