Asserting that the public distribution system would collapse for want of transportation facilities, the Delhi Chief Minister, Ms. Sushma Swaraj, today said her Government would approach the Supreme Court with a request to review its recent order banning the plying of 20-year-old commercial vehicles on city roads. "At least 190 trucks are needed to reach the daily supplies to the fair price shops, but only about 40 are available now... the remaining vehicles are all over 20 years," the Chief Minister told reporters here today.
