Sept. 23: The health and family welfare minister, Mr D. Nagender, has confirmed that swine flu has claimed 26 lives in the state and 13 others are in critical condition. A large number of patients had been discharged after treatment, he added. According to the minister, the Osmania Hospital recorded five deaths, Gandhi Hospital nine, Chest Hospital four, Apollo Hospital (Jubilee Hills) two, Aware Global five and Yashoda Hospital one.
