Kawa College of Education today organised a symposium on 'Environmental Degradation'. As per a press release, participants present were of the view about the rising population and industrial developments are responsible for the environmental degradation. The global problems of the green house effect, climate change, ozone depletion and acid rain were also highlighted. At the end, principal Dr P C Abrol addressed the students and expressed his gratitude on the active involvement of students in such activities. Later, judges placed Sita Ram Saini at first position while Pankaj and Jatan Lal got second and third positions respectively. Those who were present on the occasion included principal of KIMT Prof S C Gupta, Executive Director K L Sharma and Prof Shakti.
