A symposium to prevent forest fires and preservation of forest wealth was organised at Shopian today. The symposium organised by Forest department was attended by field staff of the department and a number of people living near forests. The experts aquainted the participants about the preventive measures to check forest fires as also significance of conservation of forest wealth.
