TIRUPATTUR: The Forest Department has formed teams in various ranges of the Tirupattur forest division to keep an eye on man-made forest fires. Forest areas, which have been identified as vulnerable to fire, will be given additional attention. Conservator of Forests, Vellore circle, A.V. Venkatachalam, said fire protection squads had been deployed under range officers. The teams also consist of Forest Department personnel, including foresters and forest guards.
