With the population growing, there is a remarkable rise in the quantity of municipal waste water. And to save the environment, already grappling with other pollutants, it is imperative to treat this municipal waste water (MWW), that too, at an affordable costs. According to experimental studies conducted by M N Dandigi of the Civil department of the PDA College of Engineering, Gulbarga, promise to put an end to the battle of Municipal Corporations against the MWW. In the system, wetlands are created and the bottom of the wetland is made leak-proof by using Geo-Synthetic Material (GSM) like clay.
