People from Majali-Kanwar have been carrying wood for the lush green forest belt of Polem and the adjoining regions of Supanguddi and Neturlim, for their kitchen furnace in broad daylight. The wood is surprisingly transported in the presence of the personal of the forest department from both states of Goa and Karnataka.
