The Gujarat Government has all but finalised the decision to sell the Baroda central Jail grounds, along with 7,000 trees."A few trees may be cut down in the green zone for contruction of roads and the like, but bringing down thousands of trees cannot be allowed under any circumstances", says an official of the Social Forestry Department.
