It is important to preserve the biodiversity of flora and fauna.
A number of reports, scientific and otherwise, have highlighted the serious threat to the multitude and variety of life on earth posed by direct and indirect human actions. The rate of extinction of plant and animal life has increased in recent years and it will have a serious impact on the future of life on the planet. According to a recent scientific report one in four of all species on earth is in danger of extinction. It is estimated that every hour, three or four forms of life are perishing.
