The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) today announced that it would consider three more Indian cultural sites for the World Heritage Site (WHS) status at a convention to be held in China next week. The sites are Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus, earlier called Victoria Terminus in Mumbai, and two Chola dynasty temples in Tamil Nadu. The proposals slated to be presented from India will also include that on Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park in Madhya Pradesh.
The World Heritage Committee will be meeting in Suzhou, China, from June 28 to July 7, a Press release from UNESCO said.
