Taking advantage of the Royal Bhutan Army's crackdown on the ULFA, NDFB and KLO inside Bhutan, hundreds of timber smugglers and mafia are actively engaged in smuggling of valuable trees like sal, sisu, titasapa, etc from the reserve forests of Assam these days.
