The Tamil Nadu Forest Department has sent a Rs 3-crore proposal to the Union Government for cultivating commercial medicinal plants om degraded forest areas in Tamil Nadu, according to the State Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Mr. K.K. Somasundaram.
