PWD Miniter Durai Murugan hopes that the Andhra Pradesh government releases Krishna water from the Kandaleru reservoir to Chennai under the Telugu Ganga programme in a couple of days. The release of the water, which was originally scheduled for July 1, has been delayed due to an agitation launched by the Congress workers in Nellore demanding water for irrigation.
