Former Irrigation Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) leader H N Nanje Gowda today said that the reported decision of the Tamil Nadu government to approach the Supreme Court for a direction to the Centre for framing a fresh scheme in place of the existing scheme relating to Cauvery Water dispute, was not in keeping with the larger interest of the farmers of the entire Cauvery Basin.
