Toyota Motor Corp. said that it will take all legal measures to fight a U.S. Justice Department suit against its U.S. unit, alleging that the auto maker's onboard emissions-monitoring equipment doesn't satisfy federal requirements. The Justice Department decision was "extremely regrettable," Toyota said in a statement from Tokyo. "The onboard diagnostic systems on all Toyota vehicles meet the standards outlined by U.S. regulations," it said.
