A major exercise to train heads of urban local bodies to help them deliver an effective and transparent administration even while following government guidelines and setout procedures, is all set to take off this week. Initially, 50 chairpersons and 50 vice chairpersons of municipal bodies from all over the Tamil Nadu state will start the four day training at the State institute of urban studies in Coimbatore.
